The development was supervised by a practising ophthalmologist and the measurement tuned according to EN ISO 8596.

It also features a special practice mode for doctors who want to secure the access to other patients data, while an ambulatory patient can carry a clinic-owned iPod or iPad and mail back regular results of improvement.
